I love you like I love anime
Your expressions full of the same emotions as are drawn onto this obsession of my life.
You are as awesome as a yo-yo
Walking up and down the streets, not that I was staring or anything.
You’re like a cat’s claws
Digging themselves into my heart and then retracting them as you leave.


I love you like Bugs Bunny loves carrots
The taste refreshing me and making me feel better.
Your eyes are like two black holes
Sucking my soul into them and getting lost within.
Like the last lit candle on a birthday cake
Your light is the most affective to my wishes.


I love you like the Phantom loved Christine
Maybe not that infatuated, but I would watch you from the darkness if necessary.
The music you emanate plays the notes of my heart
Never missing a beat and always in tune.
I’ve tried to understand why I’ve fallen in this ocean of water
Whose ripples resemble your face.
But every time I try to get out
Your waves pull me back in.

Usually I rot with poetry but I rather enjoyed this piece of mine. Guess love makes you do weird things.

Okay, the only thing I didn't like about this poem was the last line. I mean, it totally totally works, it's just I am so over this obsession of Phantom of the Opera. Not you, just people in general. I think it needs to be respected, but all these people are getting on my nerves!

Okay, rant done.

And I loved it. Seeeee, I favorited it.
